Double Helix Reflection
I think that if a parent does not want a child to have a fatal genetic disease, that it is their choice to whether or not they want to have them not have that disease. If a parent wants to give their child certain attributes, and or looks, that seems like it is their decision.
I did like the book Double Helix because I naturally like most science fiction, and the topic of huntington's disease, and how it could have an effect like this on anyone is very interesting.
I learned that Huntington’s disease is a genetic disease that impairs movement, and is definitely fatal.
I love sci-fi, i always have, and this book is no different. also, realistic fiction i like, because it has problems that are fictional, but could very well happen.
i think that if there was a sequel, it would be about the newly discovered children, and how Kayla copes with her HD.
